The fist weekend of May we took 3 of our Lego temples for display at the

BRICKSLOPES

Lego Fan event at the South Town Expo Center.

It was pretty fun to meet other Lego fans and be a part of a pretty cool event as this.

I hope they do it again next year!

Here are a couple temples that others had on display there.

 This Salt Lake Temple was built by Quinten Christensen.

This "vintage" Ogden Temple was built by John Hubenthal.

The kids and I met John at the Salt Lake Lego store filling Pick a Brick cups.  

He had a stacking strategy, so I knew he was a pro! We had fun talking to him about how the local Lego Fan group got to build the displays at the Lego store and he told me about this MOC of the Ogden temple he has.

We plan to join the ULUG group----------->

and attend meetings with fellow LEGO fans!
