Recife, Brazil



Legolas and Stud started building the Recife Brazil Temple last week. 

Legolas did a great job with the arches.

The base was finished and Stud was assigned the steeple.

On Thursday, a door knock brought Agent T and MrLeg-O to our house to play.  What did they choose to do? Finish the temple.  Agent T was very excited to landscape the exterior. Mr Leg-O was very maticulous about the steeple with Stud.  They really made it fun!

We love having these boys in our neighborhood!  Good friends definitely help make a holy place.

Before we know it, these 3 will be missionaries.  I would LOVE it if they were able to go to a mission near this particular temple, but I'm a little biased toward Brazil!

Bountiful!

Stud's pick was the Bountiful, Utah temple.

Despite a lack of excitment this week, the kids all got into it with the steeple and roof.  "Little" Stud made the steeple.  Mr Brick and Mrs Mini Figure stayed out of it and it turned out great!!

 The Bride and groom are actually holding hands! a special Valentines touch again by Stud.

Mr Brick made the arched entry.  Curves are always tricky in Lego building. 
 

This was our first attempt.  WAY too big.  So we scaled down and I think it turned out even better!  This view gives you a peek at what the building process looks like.  Legolas wants to do the inside one time.  Maybe a cross section of a temple with rooms inside.  Fun, Fun!

Draper

After all the new legos were organized, we created our home town, Draper temple on Sunday.

The kids really got into the stain glass windows(filled with little blue and clear dot pieces) and the landscape details.
