Manhattan

 Elder Delahunty left to the New York, New York North mission this week.  We are proud to be his friends and are posting this temple in his honor. 

 This temple is the first place our kids went to a temple Open House.  It is so amazing that in the middle of the bustle of New York, one can feel such a singular peace.  It is a Holy Place that holds many memories for our family.

One particular memory was a $125 parking ticket found after Mr Brick and Mrs Minifigure came out from a temple visit.  All to try to park close and save m oney instead of park in a lot for $20.
This is a small replica, but we hope to build a better one another day!

Provo, Utah temple

 

Temple pick of the week by Legolas:

Provo Utah

 Since this temple is right across the street from the Provo Missionary Training Center, we decided to put missionaries in front instead of a bride and groom.  This temple is hard because the top portion is more rounded.  Legolas tried to "round" the corners, which he did pretty well, but need more practice with that one!  Any ideas?

Stud and Studette made the fountain and added the landscaping.  Legolas was very particular, though and made sure it met his standards.  I kept trying to get him to relax and let his siblings be creative.  However, the Conference talk about a man making sure there was no grit on the wall of a temple in Hawaii kept coming to mind.  I'm guessing that General Authority was not contentious or critical, just meticulous.  Let's just say we're working on that!

Our first lego temple was a form of letter for our cousin, Nathan.

He is serving a mission in Hawaii and so we built this Laie Temple since it is where he was serving at the time. This inspired us to get a collection of white legos so we could do this as a traditional Sunday activity!
